About Us

Why Use a Guide?

Although Glacier National Park’s winter trails and unplowed roads are accessible to all, your trip can be greatly enhanced by having a guide. All of our guides are knowledgeable about the Park’s geology, natural history, and winter ecology. All have training in first aid, avalanche safety, equipment repair, and how to stay comfortable in winter weather. These skills ensure your winter outing will be safe and enjoyable. Our guides can lead you off the beaten path on a route your group can comfortably travel or simply guide you to the best scenic spots right on the trail.

From Our Clients

All smiles with Glacier Adventure Guides! “The scenery was breathtaking throughout the entire trip. We even stopped at the lake on the way back and skipped stones and watched the sunset. Thanks!” -Mike, Lisa, Paul and Kim

“I still keep telling my friends how great the winter camping and backcountry skiing was and what great meals we had. No one believes me but guess you had to be there. Next time I would like to try a week. My body was just getting used to things by the second night.” -Suzanne and Joe
